| Grant Programme for Improved Ventilation and Outdoor Play 2021 DCEDIY have issued the following clarifications with regard to the ventilation and outdoor play grant programme: • Providers can apply for funding at any time up to 7 January. The grant will be issued within a week of application subject to normal eligibility checks. You do not need to have made any purchases or to have got quotes for items or services before you apply for funding. Funding is being issued in advance of expenditure, as with the Playing Outside grant in June 2021. • Any funding which is not spent in accordance with the grant rules by 30 June 2022 will have to be returned. • Providers should get three quotes for items or services purchased under the grant scheme. Prices published on a website can be used as quotes, but please make sure to keep a copy of each quote for compliance purposes. • The closing date for applications is 7 January – there will not be any extension of the application period so providers must get their application in by 5pm on 7 January to benefit from the ventilation and outdoor play grant. The application process is straightforward and is not time consuming, your local CCC can assist if required. |
