Hive Announcement – 02.09.2024 – AIM Expansion application process now open on the Hive

Dear Service Provider,

The Access and Inclusion Model (AIM) Expansion application process for AIM Level 7 is now open on the Early Years Hive.

Please refer to the AIM Hive Guides  to support you with the submission of your AIM Standard, AIM Plus and AIM Non-term applications.

Please also refer to the AIM 2024/25 Programme Rules for further information on eligibility and governance of the AIM Programme, including the AIM Expansion supports available.

AIM Subsidy Rates 2024/25

DECDIY have announced the rates for AIM Level 7 funding will be increasing from €240 to €246 per week for the ECCE 2024/25 programme.

Important Information

At present, it is not possible to submit a review for an AIM Plus or AIM Non-term applications. A further announcement will be issued once reviews are available on the Early Years Hive for AIM Plus and AIM Non Term applications.

ReminderTraining sessions are being facilitated on today, Monday 2 September and tomorrow Tuesday 3 September to service providers and the training will cover the following: 

  • Pre-requisites of the AIM Expansion
  • AIM Terminology (Standard, Plus and Non-term)
  • AIM Service Profile and Sessions
  • System Training on the Application Types
