Online Briefing Sessions on the Role and Responsibilities of DLP/DDLP

The National Child Safeguarding Programme; Early Learning and Care, will be rolling out an online briefing session on the role and responsibilities of DLP/DDLP. The dates and times are outlined below: (these are the same sessions)

  • 8th March 2022 6pm – 8pm
  • 29th March 2022 6pm – 8pm

Please Note:

  • All participants must have completed the Tusla eLearning Programme within the last year (last 12 months). If you have completed the eLearning programme beyond 12 months, you will need to go through the eLearning programme again. It is recommended that all staff annually complete the eLearning programme.

  • This is not DLP Training. This is an online briefing session on the role and responsibilities of DLP/DDLP
  • This online briefing session is suitable for those in ELC and SAC services who are currently in the Designated Liaison Person role or Deputy Designated Liaison Person role.  It is also suitable for those who will be taking on the role of DLP/DDLP in the near future.

If you would like to attend either of the sessions above, please email info@fingalcountychildcare.ie, with the following details:

  • Session you would wish to attend
  • Attendees Name
  • Service Reference Number
  • Service Name
  • Email address of the attendee (These sessions will be delivered through Microsoft Teams)
  • Completion date of the Tusla eLearning Programme ( Attendees may be asked of proof of completion in the future)
