Childcare worker required to work in Busy creche in Baldoyle

We are currently recruiting for our team here in Donabate in a full time capacity. Must have a minimum of fetac level 5 in Childcare and 1 years experience in an early years setting

This job requires the employee to work for our afterschool service which runs from 1pm- 6pm. These hours are reflective of school term time (38 weeks) to coincide with the school calendar. Additional hours may be required for non-term time (ie school holiday periods). Every employee is required to complete a garda vetting form and must have a minimum qualification of QQI Level 5 in Early childhood care Education. Every employee must also provide to character references.

• Show a kind and caring attitude towards the children.
• Maintain a positive and calming environment for the children.
• Plan curriculums & activities for the children.
• Promote ways of positive behaviour management.
• Become familiar with and follow policies and procedures set out by Badger’s Den.
• Be familiar with Aistear & Siolta.

Must have at least level 5, and some experience in pre-school

*5 years Room Leader experience
